True. The NPS says it’s open ThFriSatSun “weather permitting”.

If you’re already in PA and the park is open you gotta see Hurricane Ridge.

If you’re judging the beauty of a state based on what’s wrong with its urban centers, you’re not going to be happy anywhere. Face facts, you’re just a super negative person.

There’s always that one person who feels the uncontrollable need to shit on something demonstrably awesome. Welcome to the party. I’m sorry you have to live with being you.

I’ve lived in a lot of different places. There’s no place more beautiful than Washington.

Drive to Point Deception, then take the ferry from Coupville to Port Townsend, then take 101 down Hood Canal to Olympia. Stop for the night in Olympia and have a nice dinner. If you have the time take Hwy 8 to Aberdeen and pick up 101 south. Follow the coast and head to Astoria, OR. You could stay the night there. It’s an easy drive to Portland from there.

One thing I often remind people is how many USN ships use nuclear power, how long they’ve been in the fleet, and how many accidents they’ve had. We have the technology.
