I did something similar with my boyfriend. So one has half the stuff so we both have rules in our emails to forward utilities bills to the other so we're both aware.
Funny story:
I received the internet bill, it would go out of my bank account automatically and then he would pay me half.
It was always his account paying and he still payed me half. FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR XD
