Damn, that’s literally three blocks away from me. Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll check them out!

I moved away from Baltimore in 2015, and then I don’t think I went back before they closed. That tracks.

Take away the decor, and it has nothing going for it. The Dizz, may she rest in peace, was always the better option in Remington.

Gunpowder is a links-style course north of Laurel that takes maybe 40 minutes to get to down 95. I’ve been playing there since college (well over a decade), and it’s a cheaper yet challenging course. Last time I was there, it was probably around $20 to walk 18, and the ticket is open all day (you could play a round, leave for lunch, and then go back to play again).

More so the target demographic that wears Patagonia (e.g. the stereotypical Silicon Valley tech bro vest), and how expensive their stuff can be. Setting up shop in ritzy Harbor East doesn’t help with that.

I know Patagonia gets a bad rep for a variety of reasons, but they make high quality clothes and gear. Their work shirts made of hemp are great and have a relaxed fit, and are one of the only shirts I’ve found that fit me well and I feel comfortable in.

Baseball and money go hand in hand. From maybe the second baseball game ever played in 1800-whatever, baseball has always been about money. Everything about the game has been commodified and monetized for decades, on down to the peewee level. I agree that it sucks, but MLB exists to make money for billionaires.
