Definitely one of the more memorable modern Western flicks, I passed on the 4k but I definitely need to give the film a rewatch, it's been years!
Who was your favorite cast/character?

I apologize if I upset you. Your post is meant to be fun. I just got defensive because I like BTTF too much.

Do you believe the original writers for BTTF and Django Unchained really sat down and agreed that their stories are linked?
This is more likely a case that the studio owns the rights to these films and casually said "go for it" when Seth McFarlane asked permission. If that is indeed the way this went, then I can't seriously look at your idea and say "wow those films are connected 🤯"

That movie is a Seth McFarlane pick; I highly doubt the universes are connected as opposed to the creator of Family Guy not being able to write anything without tons of pop culture references and jokes

The amount of batman animated movies that have come out over the last 5 years or so is staggering. I enjoy them sure but I swear everytime I go to buy the newest one they have 3 more lined up!

Gotcha. Yeah I mean I agree with you in that smaller situations such as in ET don't bother me. Sorry, I got a bit confused for a second there.

Your comment literally just says "ET used Reeces Pieces" ; you didn't elaborate at all on why you brought it up.

Yes but the kids casually eating/using Reeces Pieces is one thing; when the characters start saying lines or entire scenes surround a product placement, it can become extremely distracting or even annoying.
The most recent example I can think of is the Walgreens placements in Hocus Pocus 2. There are entire scenes in Walgreens and even one of the characters causally suggests they go to Walgreens like it's some great event.

I mean, The Hills Have Eyes always reminds me of Mad Max mostly because it's out in the desert
