You kind of blew my mind with the Interpretive Center, I had no idea that was there and it's my home town!
We've had Antietam on our list and would probably stop in Frederick to hit up a brewery on the way back anyway, that museum sounds great. Really appreciate the write up, lots of actionable stuff on here.

I remember the storm effects from the movie! Sounds like the guys who made it really knew their stuff. Are there any worthy sites to visit that you're aware of? I'd imagine there's those black and white markers at least.
Love the Korean food spots around there.

Very interesting! Side note that popped in my mind, my AP History Teacher was a reenactment extra in a small budget movie about the Battle of Chantilly, it premiered at Fair City Mall in 2006 and sold out, I went and got extra credit. Apparently there's a lot of local interest in that battle. Here's a story about it:

Crazy to think about the history that surrounds the area. I grew up going to Fair Oaks Mall as my primary hang out, bless the men that laid down their lives so I may one day feast upon the Auntie Anne's, patronize the Sam Goody, and awkwardly try to talk to the opposite sex.

Interesting take, and rings true. Though I encounter enough reckless cyclists on sidewalks to understand why people might be reflexively angry at them. But we're usually talking bruises/minor fractures at worst in the event of a bike/pedestrian collision, rather than catastrophic/debilitating injuries which occur from collisions with cars. Everyone's better off dealing with bikes even if they annoy you on sidewalks sometimes.

There was a guy that played trumpet for years near the NoMa metro that drove residents crazy, seemed to go away eventually. I feel like the economics of busking means you can't stay in one place indefinitely or eventually lose interest, think all you can do is deal with it and wait for it to end unfortunately unless you're feeling brave and confrontational...
