What he says it wont be cheaper. Analogy to this may be electric car would not save that much money in winter compared to efficient gas/hybrid when electricity is this high we have now

Most of the time your best bet find way to get somewhere is use google maps.

While you got some suggestions buy ticket to Boston first an easier way I see ourbus.com going from NY right into Methuen you can by as single ticket

Thanks for suggestion, I can email him. I wonder when I call parking dept Im calling lady that sits next to him and if it changes anything but will try.

Yes It is small ticket, meter was paid, not giving up specifics ticket was for something you would not know unless you are local. Covid times - I meant to explain why why process was stalled initially.

Can they drag this forever ?
