Even after the past two years, I think energy only makes up 5% of the S&P which is far, far off its historical average. S&P is still like 25% technology.
Ask yourself in a year's time if energy is still only going to make up 5% of the S&P.

Natural gas going forward will just have higher lows. Smart producers will be locking in nice hedges.

Whatever the Fed's intentions are, they'd better get it done before the general election.
I can't imagine a Federal Bank policy of purposely throwing people out of work and increasing unemployment is going to go over well with constituents heading into a presidential election.
