I’m glad that was your experience, but that’s not standard, they are known for not being super durable (check out Adam Neely’s video on setting up monitoring for stage performances, he talks about how he and most of his musician buddies hate how fragile the SE215 is)

SE215s are straight ass. Also their cables break like every 2 months if you use them.

My Shure SE215s are technically still alive, but I’ve replaced the cable too many times to count and the housings are badly chipped and cracked. Daily drivers for ~3 years in college and hardly used since.
