Reply to Social Media Giants Systemically Fail on Hate and Disinformation, Report Says by HowMyDictates
Is Biden claiming the vax stopped transmission disinformation / misinformation? Recall that Pfizer last week admitted before the EU that they didn't even test for that at all.
If Biden's statement (along with numerous other officials at the time) isn't misinformation then what is?
Why was I banned from several Reddits for linking to peer-reviewed studies that contradicted the prevailing narrative, but have since become fully accepted science?
Does truth / factuality play any role in these definitions of "misinformation"? Because it sure as hell feels like misinformation is anything that contradicts the prevailing progressive left orthodoxy.

Stadia was ok for casual gaming. Hardcore shooter fans would get dropped in seconds on stadia. 100ms is an eternity in PUBG.

Main reason I won't get a Tesla. iPad is not an appropriate interface in an automobile.

There's a reason they still use chunky manual knobs and sliders for crucial controls in jet fighters and formula one cars.

Reply to comment by PolyDipsoManiac in German leader warns against 'worldwide renaissance' for coal by Wagamaga
There are already huge impacts and it doesn't slow them down. As they get wealthier they build cleaner coal plants with fewer particulate emissions -- the stuff that is actual pollution and nobody wants.
China's cities have the dirtiest air on the planet, but rapid growth is far more important to them than theoretical climate change. They will gradually improve air quality. Los Angeles was like this 60 years ago. Not any more.
mmarollo t1_it1zuy9 wrote
German leaders literally caused the worldwide renaissance for coal.
There's nothing anyone can do anyhow. Asia pays lip service to the Western climate cult, but they don't believe any of it. Which is why they're building thousands of new coal plants in the next 20 years.

One US submarine cam obliterate Russia. 160 warheads, each of which can do severe damage to a city. The Russians would just flood the skies with ICBMs and we’d only stop a few.

The area where I grew up has almost universal gun ownership and a near zero homicide rate. The UK rid of guns and the gangs there just started killing each other with knives. I wish it was as simple to fix as you think it is.
