Geneva conventions say gassing enemy soldiers or civilians is illegal but you can bet your ass PPD found a way to bend the rules back in 2020.

The solution is for Philly police to do their job, but according to the FOP asking them to do the work they’re paid to do is offensive and anti-cop. PPD is a waste of our tax dollars

Reply to Mayoral candidate Helen Gym and ex-Mayor Michael Nutter clashed during a live event: ‘We are just in total disagreement’ by thefirststoryteller
At this point Helen Gym is a dead end candidate. All talk, no substance, no planning, and for all the posturing and holier than thou arrogance she has, her husband is an attorney for a company that helped perpetuate the opioid epidemic. As far as I’m concerned this mayoral election is between Rhynhart and Domb.

So your solution to SEPTA having security issues is to pave more of the city? My brother in Christ, that’s not how solutions work.

Shittiest take. The city needs better public transit and biking infrastructure and LESS infrastructure to support cars.

I wish the city would stop trying to collect these titles and instead would just do what it implies it’s doing- bring in migrants, find available housing for them, and help them find jobs in the city.

Ok so we’re in agreement that it should probably be between Rhynhart or Brown but not Gym, right?

No it’s not, it’s a moron thing to park on the side walk. On one side you’re impeding traffic that could include emergency vehicles, sanitation, or public transportation. On the other side you’re impeding pedestrian trafficking and handicapped mobility. Parking on the sidewalk has narcissistic main character vibes and I hope they get keyed or scuffed for parking like that.

Yeah. Just take it off when you get back, then when you’re done being hungover you run some run - hot water in a bin. Use dish soap or old school laundry soap (I use jabón Zote).

I’m a boxer and I used to teach. As counterintuitive as it sounds, having a constructive outlet for aggression in a disciplined manner is very healthy and helpful to reduce violence. Boxing, as other martial arts, requires a lot of discipline and concentration, it’s not just going to hand someone the ability to be able to knock out others.

I mean ideally it would given that there wouldn’t be the congestion that would make it dangerous. I get your point but I think you underestimate how many cars you can take off the road by having an adequately funded transit authority

Investing in transit reduces the number of cars on the road, so yes- it would absolutely help that.

Big brother is watching. The CCP also initially installed cameras to “help police traffic incidents.” If the city really gave a shit about protecting bikers and pedestrians, it would increase funding to public transit and restructure traffic to include more and better bike lanes. Philly is addicted to cars because SEPTA isn’t given proper funding to adequately support cross city transit the way it should be
