I like this kind of thing.

For Portland I can sort of confirm almost everyone else in the world assumes Oregon too (though I also knew of Massachussetts Portland).

London is a fun one (London, Canada often comes up in this "thing" out in the wild).

Put in my hometown Aberdeen too, because until the past 2-3 years if you were literally searching from an IP address geolocated in Aberdeen, Scotland, then search results for Aberdeen would be full of random American stuff despite those being villages.

Quite fun to go through this list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_the_most_common_U.S._place_names
Chester is a fun one, with 2 close and relatively insignificant so nearby it's a toss-up to either but farther afield enters probably/mainly for one or the other.

I wonder how much of that is indeed due to economic changes over time. Trying to make a profit off prepared food is er, a bit of a challenge to say the least. In cities the margins are usually pushed as close to just barely possible as they can be.

The country that mostly speaks English with the most English speakers (country with just the most speakers is India). And some of the other countries that mostly speak English don't like seeing the Butcher's Apron, or having to click on it identifying with it, so it kind of leaves the US flag as the best international option for the language.

Lol premium butter chicken? It's a one pot curry, basic knowlege and chuck stuff in, has no fancy ingredients (though some if not via e.g. hello fresh can be difficult to find like fresh fenugreek leaves).

Anyway.
I can guarantee good quality and properly done fish and chips is much harder to cook, especially multiple portions, than a huge range of Indian food. But with a recipe - without guidance people would definitely struggle to get Indian food right. But no quality of recipe can get a mediocre cook to consistently do fish and chips perfectly. Also eeew having any fresh fish from any kind of central wholesale and certainly not in sushi :S

Ah those ones where either all responses are considered positive or all responses are considered negative depending on if the purpose is to brown nose or to drag people through the mud and they give you an extra free text field with a limit of 100 characters or something, and it's just a text input not a textarea, and that character limit isn't warned about before clicking submit.

A face or fingerprint are also static and can never be changed, ever - remember digitally they are still data being sent over whatever protocol. We also have "AI"s that can regenerate your face, in different poses and animated, and they are getting better constantly. That's worse than SSN.

Nice interactive static image. Thankfully I can just search for exactly the title and find a few interactive representations of the same data.

edit: oh the OP did post a link, but it somehow got lost by someone else's comment being removed.
Speaking of which, why the hell doesn't reddit let someone post multimedia, hundreds of thousands of other sites have managed that for decades. "text and images together? No can do!"
