Reply to Quality boots for work or dress down? by kaosburn
Golden fox boots have been my favorite for years. The boondocker is really comfortable and they last for a long time. I've never thought to resole them but mine get destroyed with paint.

Reply to BIFL Blank black shirts? by Mahrodi
I've had the best luck with Dickies tshirts since the early 90's. Still have a couple shirts from back then that are now blue-ish and full of little holes, but still wearable. I mean, they're 30 years old and still kicking.

Reply to Building a work bench: wood screws or lag bolts? by CaptInsane
Unless you plan on putting huge amounts of weight and stress on the work bench, screws will be fine. I have a couple benches made with 2x4s and screws and they have held up fine for years. You could likely get a free plan from Anawhite.com or from some YouTuber. That way you leave the guess work and doubts behind. Good luck and remember to have fun!
