Dude I havw 560S and they are eons ahead of Focal Bathys or any bluetooth headphone and were 4x cheaper.
Full sized open back headphones will absolutely crush BT headphones, which makes sense when you think of the design constraints of the latter

Same. Parents never got a job or grew up, deugs, partying, alcohol. I became hyper mature by 14, pushed myself insanely hard and achieved a lot by age 23. But the cost was huge, I could never relax or feel at ease. I didnt enjoy life, it was a struggle just get to safety.
It motivates me now to create a space for my kids to feel safe and secure, so they don't have to feel like drowning rats and can actually explore life.

as a physicist/science teacher, I gotta say it was entirely science that got us into this mess lol. The carnot cycle was the beginning of the end for a stable climate.
I love science but lets not point the finger at imaginary culprits when the real one is right here

i see very little reason to believe they are. For instance the batteries for most smartphones made in the DRC are done under awful conditions for some miners, and amnesty international found LG don't give a damn. Actually no brand seems to be doing much about artisinal miners apart from Apple according to Amnesty, an independent charity representing miners in africa in this case.
Batteries are of course in every phone and an important part of the supply chain. So I think the amount of care brands have for the miners is quite indicative

I mean its the same for musicians. We describe sounds as fuzzy, thin, thick, warm, bright, moody, and so on. It works because we have a common reference of experience (im talking about guitar).
It always baffles me how headphone reviewers get so much schtick for their vocab. Sound is hard to describe.

Yeah I had them on OG firmware. They were fine but can't compete with decent open backs imo. Heck i'd take a hd650 over my focal celestee any day, let alone a Bathys which is quite a bit below my Celestee tbh.
