Went there every summer for Thomas land. Never went there in for Christmas. I would've thought the Thomas land would've brought in more revenue. Surprised Christmas brings in 60-70% revenue.

Wow. It never ceases to amaze me how the school system in the US is soo localized to the point that what you are describing is possible.
Is the state not allowed to intervene when a local town school system superintendent f**ks it up so bad?

I don't get it. We already have property tax. If you fail to pay property tax, the government can reposes the land and sell it to someone else who can pay. How is what you're proposing different?
