Reply to Stainless steel Gator french press by flames_32
All stainless is the way to go in my opinion. My friend's break about eight glass ones a year and I've had my stainless one since around 2002 with no problems. It's actually from a Starbucks the ones that they use not the ones that they sell. My manager friend gave it to me when I moved.

Reply to My Grandmother’s oven, circa 1966. Many holiday meals were cooked with love here, right up until the day she passed. Aside from one shattered glass door that was replaced, everything still works! by _Mr_Roboto_
My grandmother had the same one in a really awesome color green and it still worked perfectly before she sold her house. The whole eye top slides in to give you room that her kitchen definitely did not need. She also had an old refrigerator that still worked that looked like the Bonnet of a car and was either made by GE or maybe even a car manufacturing company.
