Right. I don’t mind “we autograt parties of 6 or more so your server gets a big tip,” I’ve been that server. This reads to me more like “we don’t want to raise the price of our $45 chicken dish or $48 fish entree by 23% to cover basic labor and benefits, so here’s a non-tip fee”

And a mandatory 23% service charge, none of which goes directly to your server.
“*A 23% service fee will be added to your check. The restaurant distributes those funds to all employees in the form of wages and benefits, creating equity and consistency for both our kitchen and dining room staff. You are welcome to add additional gratuity for the service staff.”

You can make that much driving for DoorDash or Instacart without the liability of carrying passengers. But, you’ll probably make more driving Amazon Flex or as a UPS Personal Vehicle Driver
Any Dominos would also instantly hire you and reduce your tax liabilities and paperwork

Penn is always better than Camden line. And Penn goes over 100 mph for part. Penn also has an occasional 45 minute express train with limited stops

There are now providers on OurBus who pick up from Maryland Ave. The buses are unmarked other than “Brownin Transportation” “Z Tours” or “Superior Tours” but they offer multiple daily NYC trips from Maryland Ave to the Javits Center and to 26th and Park for $25-30

People are hating, but you are correct. Sure, you can hike Weverton Cliffs and Old Rag, but ex-Coloradans need to lower their expectations. The Whites in NH are the closest you’ll get to western mountains on the east coast and that still cannot compare.
