Reply to comment by Pintail21 in How long could a rabies vaccine last? by News_of_Entwives
Yeah, it's super expensive to test for antibodies. You need to if you're traveling to Hawaii with your pet. They don't have rabies and don't want it. My understanding is that your pet just needs the antibodies in their system, and a vaccine every 3 years is cheaper than the blood test to check.

I don't think the earth will imminently end or ever end. ( We might all die though ) I don't think we'll see colonization in our lifetime. If we ever do it might look like something we've never even imagined.
The fact is, it's not apart of the ecological cycle for us to build cities and factories trains planes automobiles etc. The earth may be able to handle some of this to an extent but the science shows 8 billion people at our current levels doesn't work.

Reply to When pharmaceutical companies develop new prescription drugs, do they test every method of delivery to the human body? For example, injected, orally, topically, rectally, etc? by scottyboy218
I'm by far not an expert. Someone else can probably weigh in more, but in veterinary drug books, they often list the drug and all routes of administrations and efficacy/ effects species, etc. It can get interesting in different species. Not all animals will take a pill.
