Reply to Indestructible Water Bottle by goblinqueen487
Is yeti or thermoflask available in the uk? Metal is definitely the way to go. My now 4 year old broke multiple supposedly unbreakable plastics (Nalgene, camelback, etc). Usually happened when he would drop the bottle and it would just hit a weak spot, I guess. He has not been able to destroy all metal insulated ones. Yeti (in the us at least) will personalize it with your name for a small fee (helps reduced lost bottles or “accidentally” walking home with other kids).

Reply to I have two low pile/almost no pile area rugs and hardwood floors. I’m tired of vacuum cleaners that just stop working after a couple years. I do have pets. Anyone have any experience with carpet sweepers? And can you recommend a bifl one? by 1212gatez
Higher end vacuums (miele, sebo) are repairable and have real warranties. You can sometimes find lightly used or refurbished ones from dealers. Check the vacuums sub.
Edited to add: have you been changing the filters and cleaning out the brush heads on your current vacuum? That makes a huge difference.

New balance is one of the few to truly offer a range of width options. They even have extra wide shoes for little kids (which aren’t easy to find). The fit definitely makes a difference.

Assuming you’re in the states, I have a cuisinart electric kettle (the perfectemp one) that I love, but have only had it about three years.

I love my brooks.
You may want to head to a good shoe store and get your feet properly measured. If you’re having trouble with toes feeling squished, you may be wearing the wrong size or width.
