When I was in college the Microsoft evangelists would come giving talks and gifting everyone in attendance physical Xbox games, and they were so desperate to get the store going that they'd beg for us to develop any app. One guy even said that we could just clone the example calculator app, change the name and the logo and upload it like that.

It wasn't funny, meta or clever really. Ah yes at one point he kisses himself. That's the whole extent of the craziness. The rest is a really really bad comedy/action movie.

I mean you gotta ask yourself why even do the movie in the first place to do so little with it. It's like they started with the correct mindset but they just didn't have the talent to write it and ended with the most mid movie imaginable.

The first time I had one I almost fainted on the way to the toilet.

I then remembered a commercial about one of these creams that pictured a lady sitting in a red hot cooking mesh coil. People in those commercials really undersell how bad it can be. I've been several times without moving from bed because of it. On the other hand when I applied the cream I experimented instant relief, and I mean instant. It felt like magic.

Before picking traffic lights it was writing numbers and words. They came from street view and googles project to scan books. You can now enjoy the fruits of that in google lens for example.

That game that played like Pokémon go before it was used to have people walking into alleyways and such for google maps.

Captchas are needed because people are bastards. You can't even start to imagine the insane amount of time and resources dedicated to fighting bastards.

lol if anything game pass will eventually be so good that buying a PlayStation won't make sense anymore. This is Microsoft's end goal, they're bleeding money with it to get rid of Sony. Next gen the Xbox will be the popular console, and the next one there won't be a PS7. Add to this that Microsoft has the engineering to add all the old catalogues.

This is something Sony simply can't compete against.
