Just saying that glasswares aren't that fragile. How careless you are to drop your lunchbox?
I'll be sitting in your car all day until you decide to eat its contents then you'll put it back in your car's compartment.
The only time you handle it roughly is when washing it (same as cookwares) or when you are eating.

Maybe something made up of shock resistant glassware like a Corelle plate.

Can you suggest one? I had a stainless steel and it taste terrible. Plastics are hard to wash.

I think pyrex has one. A lot of our cookwares are made of glass and 15+ years old already

Im using something like this but the plastic lid always breaks down on the part that bends. I wonder if metal cover with glass body exists.
