As a data scientist, I see ChatGPT as 10xing the output of current workers… not replacing anybody. You still need people to understand what to ask it and companies want to make more money for less effort, not the same amount of production for less effort. So most likely ChatGPT and similar tools will be like Google is for programmers not “the singularity”. Usually when people think something like ChatGPT or Dall-E will change the world for the worse, they’re delusional. Just more conspiracy theories that never come true.
