I lived in edgewood for a few years. A slight breeze would make the power go out when I lived there. I don't miss it.

I will never miss Ponderosa. My family loved that place and ate there a lot until my mom and I got food poisoning so bad from the one that was by Kennywood that she ended up in the hospital for 2 days and I threw up so hard I burst blood vessels in my eyeballs. I was like 5 years old. Still traumatized.

Right? Everyone saying that is normal for a house built in the 50s? I have a finished basement. I had water come in once the entire time I've lived in my house and it was while the entire region was flooding from crazy amounts of rainfall. My grandma's house was the same. One time from hurricane Ivan. My parents basement is semi-finished and the entire time we lived there we never had issues until the yard was dug up to replace a busted sewage pipe. The company that did it messed up the French drain and now they are getting water in the one corner but it's slightly damp block. Not flooding the basement.

No one wants to make it themselves. It defeats the purpose.

I'm near you and that's really high. I live in a 1000sq ft house. My electric averages $125 during winter and $175 during summer and that's with a 1950s antique beer fridge sucking up power and 3 pcs always on (2 work and 1 gaming). My gas bill was $140 on 68 and that's not on the budget billing. Water is 70 and sewage is separate that is $40.
Edit to add my insulation is shit so that's not helping keep my bill down

I never get snow tires. How often does it really snow more than an inch or 2 in Pittsburgh any year? I don't find them necessary.

Jesus christ. That's on a budget? Do you own a Victorian mansion?

- Non budget. Set to 70. 1000sq ft house. Shitty insulation.

I liked Steiner Realty. They were good about fixing things. Rented from them for 5 years in 3 different apartments because I liked them so much I just kept moving to bigger/better apartments when something opened up.

I mean, mine is $130 for a well insulated 1000sq ft house that I keep at 68. Sounds about right to me if yours isn't as well insulated as mine and you keep at a higher temp.

Haha. Please. That will always be yinzereagle. I avoid that one like the plague. That's the one I grew up going to because there was no waterfront. It's so dirty and rundown and small. No thank you. I go to the Waterfront to pickup my grandma's groceries but if I'm going for myself I got to the century 3 giant eagle.

Yes. They probably don't have prices on their website because it's not something you can buy through curbside

I only shop here when I'm getting my grandma's groceries because she won't let me get them anywhere else. Was going to pick my husband up some cider until I saw that. I'll get it elsewhere.

Well, a murder just happened in the apartment building I rented at for 3 years. I moved out because there were drug deals going down in the parking lot from people that didn't live in my building and my car got broken into and packages constantly stolen. That was on sailor place.
