I don't like that it leaves a great deal of subjectivity and discretion to law enforcement, who are prone to behaving like schoolyard bullies.

I agree with the points about housing, but the providence skyline is a crumbling and empty Superman building and a hotel connected to a shopping mall.

The move to remote work for many has lead people to spread out from HCOL areas to Mid and Lower COL. There's already people with money coming into RI from Boston, New York, and elsewhere competing for limited housing stock. Maybe this tower will serve as a magnet for those with the dough and allow others to more easily find places to rent. Idk, I haven't seen the data. But I'm not about to oppose it for vague NIMBYist reasons.

I have had someone get wicked mad at me in a storm on the freeway one time for flashing my lights off and on, not brights. They literally did not understand that they were driving a grey car in a grey storm and were basically invisible.
