Venn diagram of:

  • People who believe they are one of the few who can really see what's going on, and everyone else is sheep.

  • Losers who aren't doing anything to change the way things are, and are waiting for someone else to change things.

"Nobody else sees" is just an angry way of saying "someone else needs to fix things for me." Successful, content people don't act that way, unless they're in media and winding other people up for votes or advertising.

There are other options for white men:

  • An evil corporate lawyer working for big oil who will "get what he deserves."

  • A gay man with lots of gay character development.

  • A white man who apologizes for being a a white man.

As a homeowner (bought my first home 5 years), I'm glad that I spent a period of time buckling down and getting my shit together.

It may not have been feasible for you to have done well in the past, financially speaking, but there may be something you can do about it in the future.

You know who doesn't get ahead? The people who complain about how everything is unfair; the people who claim the good advice, is unreasonable advice; the people who act like the world is against them, or corporations are holding them down. You can pick them out just by listening to them, or seeing what they post online.

Lots of people say things "with certainty" when it's just an opinion based on your perception.

You've noticed corruption with increased frequency. Therefore, you conclude the frequency of corruption has increased.

Sure, was there really less corruption in the past? Or was it just a different kind of corruption that wasn't as easily identified?

If a politician used to take small bribes from 3000 companies, but now takes large bribes from 300 companies, is corruption less, more, or the same but different ?
