No, there’s really nowhere to do dispersed camping in this area. Out west and in other countries there are large tracts of public land where you can camp but in New England it’s going to be national parks only and then only so close to the trail. You can back country camp in the White Mountains in New Hampshire, in the National park (Forest).

A person who was not an officer of the law kicked his door in, armed. He defended himself. Unfortunately his gun wasn't legal so he's going to face some legal consequences, but this sounds, on the basis of the information given so far, like self defense.

This is not how "eviction" works - you have to go through a lawful process, not just try to physically remove someone.

Piggybacking -

Comedy Open Mic - Askew Tuesdays

Music open mic - Parlour Wednesdays

Music Open mic - Askew Mondays

Live music - both of these venues have live music every weekend at a minimum

Askew I especially recommend based on the OP - it’s a very chill and welcoming spot with a nice atmosphere and they have food as well as a bar. Both open mics are good scenes. I’ve never been to the comedy open mic.

There’s also a Thursday night open mic at The Mediator Stage which is in a Unitarian church - nice people and usually really good music. Good for participants and observers!

Askew is an awesome small venue and totally fine to go alone. I’ve had nothing but good experiences there.
