Not sure where to find a cordless beard. But the trimmer I have had for 12 years without fail is a Wahl homepro. It was cheap and it's far outlived its price. The internals are basic. Just keep it oiled. It seems the other comments here have bad Wahl experience. Perhaps they used to be great and are now circling the drain... Sad if that's true.

At the risk of sounding like a fanboy.... BOSCH BOSCH BOSCH

They are the one and only brand in pretty much everything from wiper motors to fridges that still have screws and nuts you can take off. Things behind a Bosch is removable, replaceable, repairable. Compare this with any of the chinese or korean brands, and you will see that they are sealed. Pipes are welded and glued on, backs are closed on... it's so obvious, it is sad.

My oldest machines that still run (not even repaired yet) are Bosch.

Dishwasher = 12 years

Fridge = 15 years (and 3 years)

Heck, I bought my second mahindra because half of the stuff under the hood are Bosch parts that I can yank out and replace myself.

Just my 50c.

PS: there's probably some other old brands that still make things like this (Phillips ??)
