I live in the Amherst area and visit Greenfield a lot. I wouldn’t want it the other way around.

Yeah. Your rate depends on where the car is garaged, and varies A LOT by zipcode.

You need it for insurance and you need insurance to register the vehicle

“large college town” best sums of up. There’s a lot to do, and you are close to Springfield too

Western MA, but Amherst, Northampton or Easthampton.

True. My now 16 year old still likes it when she was 10, but probably for the nostalgia.

If it’s such a bad area you think you need a knife for protection, you’re just going to escalate the situation and get shot. Or stabbed with your own knife. Likely both.

Children’s museum, science museum and the aquarium. Touristy and cliche, but still my kid’s favorite childhood memories.

Depends. In some towns (especially Boston) that knife is illegal to carry either way. 2.5” blade limit
In other towns you can carry it either way as long as it’s not a specific type of knife listed in section 10b. Which are legal to own, but never legal to carry.

Mine does. Caremark prescriptions through Anthem insurance. I can use other pharmacies but the cost is much higher for brand name drugs. My daughter's inhaler is 3x the price at Walgreens than it is at CVS for me.
Cheap generic stuff is the same price anywhere

Really nice area with good people that’s down on its luck right now. Mostly from people looking to buy property there and rent it out.

It’s pretty safe everywhere there. Avoid Pittsfield directly for school systems of you are going to public schools. Lenox has a good public education system with a reported 100% hs graduation rate (vs 89% in Pittsfield).
