I know somebody who spent tons of money on a fold and the screen cracked. Fortunately, the warranty covered it but he seems to think another defect is occurring.

I am totally into the Apple ecosystem but just bought an Android phone for fun because it was a good deal combined with a year of service. If anything, it can be a backup phone if an iPhone in our house breaks.

My main phone will continue to be my iPhone 13 Pro Max though.

I had a Galaxy S8. It started out fine but ended horribly after some app conflict caused the battery to go downhill. At that point, I went over to iPhone.

I’ve had the 8 Plus, 11, and now the 13 Pro Max.

Google almost screwed me out of nearly $1k after I returned my Pixel 6 Pro. I mentioned the BBB (even though they probably wouldn’t do anything) and had a refund email within hours.

I was an Android user from Froyo (2.2) up to Oreo (8.0) or so. I mean it had its issues but was generally okay. Moved to iPhone in 2018 but tried Android again last year and for some reason, it seemed buggier. Even my dark/light mode settings based on time weren’t working correctly. iOS has its flaws too but I’ll still take it over my experience last year.

Throwing a screen protector on the replacement might be a good idea too. I went without screen protectors for years but after realizing my old iPhone 11 screen had a micro scratch the first day, it’s a requirement for me now and also keep spares on hand.

Are you using a physical SIM or eSIM? Years ago when I had T-Mobile, was unable to receive most text messages. I finally went into a store and they gave me a new SIM card. The issue cleared up right away.

I've had issues somewhat recently sending SMS' to one contact in particular. Still unsure it that was an iOS or AT&T problem. Reset network settings and haven't seen the problem reappear in the past few days.

I’ve had that happen on iOS 16 but I think it’s due to AT&T rolling out C-Band in our area. Sometimes it goes between 5G and 5G+. One time I lost service altogether and had to wait for it to restore.
