In warhammer 40k there is an excerpt of tyranids(alien all consuming species) basically swallowing a observation post in space and the describes the process of digestion for them. It’s quite illuminating to something as simple as digestion.

For any 40k nerds I know I could explain better and more about it but this isn’t a 40k thread

Air…..is….depleting…at an…alarming rate….can’t…go on….into the light I go…(followed by dramatic dying noises) to be repeated every 5 min. Bad part is it’s just a bunch of squeaks

I had two growing up slappy and gizmo. Loved them gizmo was a special surprise a month after I brought slappy home and I had a tiny lil orangey running around next morning
