And it's $30 for the season or $4 a month to stream via the app if for any reason you don't get good radio reception.

I'll have to disagree with this. I park in that garage. It is full and then it turns over and fills again in the evening. I live in the Northeast. It take a 15 minute walk and then two buses to get to Penn Station. The first bus comes every 30 minutes during rush hour (!!!) and often doesn't show up or is running late (I went just now to looks at the exact headway on Google Maps and it is running 20 minutes late, eg, right now). There is no light rail. There is no metro. For physical reasons, I cannot use a bike or scooter. Until Baltimore does better with reliable public transportation that serves all areas of the city, there needs to be some affordable way for people to park their cars near the train. It doesn't have to be on that block but the city is large, this is the only train station, and public transportation is a joke.

It's pretty lively! I park in that garage and in the evening as I leave it fills up again. It has a $3 deal for restaurants, the club, and the Charles Theatre.

They've said since the beginning that that lot would be going away.

I went to college 30 years ago. Perhaps it was less well-known then. I can only tell you, if I said that, I'd get blank looks. I learned quickly to say "metro NY" or NY.

Too funny! I have no problem owning Westchester and I’m proud to be from there. I only said NY because people in Baltimore didn’t know that area. I never felt like a city kid, even if I hung out in the city all the time, and I wouldn’t have wanted people to think I was someone I am not. Suburbs and cities really are different.

There are things that are unique to cities over their suburbs or exurbs. People living in HoCo probably don’t deal with many of the challenges of city life. It isn’t just old bay. I say this gently as the person from your example: I grew up in Westchester County, NY. When I came to college in Baltimore I told people I was from NY, which I knew they’d interpret as the city because if I said Westchester they wouldn’t know where that even was necessarily. But I’d never have told someone from Manhattan or the Bronx I was from NY. My life was nothing like theirs even if we liked the same teams and food. And that’s fine! It’s fine to be from where you’re from even if it’s a suburb or a county and not a city.

This was my experience with Geico, who I was very sorry to leave because they dealt with me really fairly after an accident a few years ago. But they went from ~$1200 a year in 2019 gradually up to $1800 a year for 2023 and wouldn't budge when I complained. I'm now with Progressive who took me back to ~$1200.

I Googled based on the paper in the box… looks like a bakery in Singapore. Everything there looks amazing.

I had a fender bender with a driver and we both called the cops multiple times. We waited two hours and they never showed. We finally left when they told us if no one was hurt they weren't going to bother. So even if you did call there's no guarantee anyone would come.

Reply to I pay my water bill once every 3-6 months by smoovgee
I always get it in the mail but wish I didn't. It's just another thing to throw away and I pay online.
I pay it late every single month because pretty much all my bills are due around the 30th and the water bill is due like the 23rd and I just prefer to do them all in one day, plus not a week early. I've never been charged any kind of penalty.
