Thank you!!! This was my first embroidery project so I’m really thrilled for such positive feedback (and pumped to start another project!)

I curled up on the couch and had Brooklyn 99 playing in the background for about three days straight. But can confirm, back, arms, and hands def hurt after I was done.

It was a gift! So currently looking into options for them to keep it safe from dust and hopefully let the piece have a really long life. A dome is great idea, thank you!!

The houses themselves aren’t embroidered. They’re felt! Although my next project I’d like to give true 3d aerial embroidery a go. I believe there’s a few techniques to building up the terrain like layering a lot of embroidery floss or potentially using foam or something else that’s adhered to the fabric and then embroidered over. Excited to give a few of those a try!

Probably another aerial embroidery piece! Debating the place. Currently thinking of doing Rome, but logistical planning of such a detailed city is going to take some time to flesh out.
