Reply to CEOs are quietly backtracking on remote work—and more companies could follow by ethereal3xp
While I agree that new hires benefit greatly from being in the office, learning from coworkers, and seeing how things get done first hand, once they're trained up and can stand on their own, there's no need to have them in the office full time. And it makes no sense to require tenured employees to come into the office at all, if they're not involved in training a new hire.

Yeah, that was such a great, gut wrenching performance and all around sad but well done movie. I might need to rewatch it this weekend.

Reply to LPT: take your wallet out during road trips by phatfarmz
I take mine out and put it in the door handle grip area. It fits there perfectly, and I always have to put my hand there when I'm getting out so no chance forgetting it. In fact, my wallet is almost never in my back pocket when I'm sitting down, probably only when sitting in a restaurant. I had chronic lower back problems from my early 20s and into my late 40s. Stopped sitting on my wallet and the back pain has all but vanished.

Watching her show would be the worst kind of torture. I think it was specifically called out in the Geneva Convention as being too inhumane.

I was trying to figure out how the TV showed was related. I thought I was missing something.

That was the very nicest way I could describe her; there are many less nice, and more accurate, ways I can think of.

For anyone else as unaware as myself, it's named after the astronomer Nancy Grace Roman, not the horrible TV personality Nancy Grace.

Yeah I bought one of those dashcams, but turned it around so I could record all the crazy stuff me and my kids did in the car. Oh man, it was more than I expected. Had to take that thing down.

I'm never lonely because I expect nothing from my social relationships, and I'm never disappointed.
