Reply to comment by PlannerSean in [OC] Took a look into Hello Fresh by jakeman8888
We've been using it for at least three years. Personally, it's changed my life. It's made me into a better cook altogether, even when not using their recipes, and tbh even taught me how to better shop for ingredients on my own (for the days when I don't make a Hello Fresh). Its also introduced me to a ton of food I didn't know about.

Reply to comment by dylancatlow in TIL that the phrase "It was a dark and stormy night" was the opening line to an actual novel published in 1830, but runs on for another 51 words: "It was a dark and stormy night; the rain fell in torrents — except at occasional intervals, when it was checked by a violent gust of wind which..." by dylancatlow
The reason it became famous is because the opening sentence is a famous example of purple prose.

Sorry, I didn't know much comment would upset you. I thought you'd find it interesting.
Basically, even though melatonin can provide great short term treatment, there's a strong risk of relapse when left to your own devices. Your brain is sinply hard coded to a particular sleep schedule. However, it's not really a big deal, because you can function just fine with an alarm clock. Plus, you can find work that works with your natural schedule.

You might have delayed sleep phase disorder. I do too.

There's nothing inherently wrong with it other than it's hard to conform to society's normal morning oriented structure. Even if you force yourself to wake up early for years you can never truly break out of it.

Reply to comment by kingzilch in is there any show with more spin-offs and spin-offs-of-spin-offs than All in the Family? by [deleted]
I believe Happy Days had 5. Some are debated, as you alluded to, but I count them. All in the Family wins with 7 solid spin-offs, but Happy Days is a great honorable mention.

Stephen King's The Shining put certain words in small-caps for emphasis and I really liked it

I think it's hard for people to imagine when they've never experienced a war take place within their country, or somewhere very near to their country.

Also, for literally decades, they only showed bare breasts.

The graphics are basic on purpose. Their eventual goal is to push out a very inexpensive headset for the masses. They want the bast majority of people to be able to afford it.

I only just realized I wasn't. That explains why the comments here felt so different lmao. I was like, is someone on r/nba seriously only just learning that the Spurs are bad?
