Reply to Hand Surgeon by RhodyViaWIClamDigger
Wouldn’t a surgeon need to be associated with a hospital to do surgery? If they’re doing minor procedures in office, they’re probably still affiliated with a hospital for the purpose of other procedures. I’d highly recommend Dr. Got at University Ortho if you can’t find someone fitting all of your requirements.

No, we actually don’t. Move on up to Barrington.

Saying something is overpriced doesn’t mean they’re saying it’s outside you’re budget. And doesn’t make their argument less valid. Property in RI IS over priced for the quality of what you’re getting in a lot of areas in the state. And just because other people are being rude in your DMs, there’s no need to come here and comment something completely out of line.

Pretty sure this person is not taking a dig at you but expressing their belief that the state itself is overpriced and overrated. No need for such a wildly personally offensive remark. Though if you’re looking to live the stereotype of NY’ers moving to RI, you’re doing a great job lol

You’d be happy in Westerly.

You could also choose the option for the premium being higher than whatever this year’s percentage of your income they’ve decided on. They don’t check on that.

Haversham in Westerly. They’re just always good and consistent, and they don’t have a weird breading (why is that a thing?).

Chomp for good fried chicken sandwiches, Knead for donuts (better than PVD in my opinion), plenty of breweries to explore if you like beer. Newport is fun if you want to see a bunch of old mansions and eat some good seafood. Narragansett/Charlestown are 35-45 minutes away for even better seafood and less crowded than Newport(if you’re coming in warmer months). If you do come to Narragansett, the sea wall is beautiful and Coast Guard House is worth the price because the food is delicious and the view is amazing. Narragansett lighthouse and Fisherman’s Memorial are great scenic spots.

They ARE stupid in this state, but OP also stated they use A LOT of kwh so this is not just a case of crazy electricity bills.

A good experience is also Mystic/Mystic Village if you’re looking to make a fun overnight trip out of it. The village is decorated for Christmas and there are plenty of food options down by the drawbridge (Engine Room!).

Reply to Beach access for Narragansett town beach as some who doesn’t live in Narragansett? by yeehawkalian
I believe you have to be a resident to purchase a pass (I don’t think they offer non-resident passes at all). I also think beach access is going up this year but it was $10 in the past. Unless you’re absolutely sold on Narragansett Beach, Scarborough isn’t a bad alternative and has way more parking.
