My mom put things on layaway at Clover on the regular. My grammy bought me and my brother a hot dog and an Icee at the counter most times I went with her. My mom said no every time.
My friend got caught shoplifting baseball cards there. I didn't steal any and somehow managed to just keep walking when security stormed down the ramp to the mall and grabbed him. They were apparently really nice and showed him how many cameras had been on him while he waited for his mom to pick him up. I called my mom from a payphone. She knew something was up when I said my friend was getting his own ride, but she didn't pry.
When I moved into my first apartment, my mom and I went to the mall after the Clover became a Value City and she helped me pick out a set of Revere Ware pots and pans. I still have two of them. My mom loved Value City. My brother and I made fun of her a bit because we thought it was cheap and shitty.
Clover's gone. Value City is gone. My mom is gone. I wish I had gone to Value City with her more.

I got excused from jury duty in Norristown over email pretty easily. Federal Court in Philly? Medical documentation stating a diagnosis wasn't good enough. Had to schlep downtown to sit for former Congressman Fattah's jury selection. There I answered the questionnaire honestly, restating the health issue and why it would make it difficult to sit all day and focus on a trial. I was excused after lunch.
It was interesting to witness the process and it honestly would have been incredible to be on a jury for a political corruption case. I made the best of the day and got a DiNic's roast pork.
Based on my experience they do not give a shit about your problems. I agree with other suggestions to tell them you have no choice but to bring the baby. They do not want a baby there.

Could be voles, or any number of animals looking for a meal - grubs, worms, buried nuts, whatever. You can try to reduce the grub population.
GrubEx is quite targeted at grubs, but I'm not comfortable using it because my property is near a municipal well. I use some products but only if I know they have low soil mobility or degrade soon after contact with soil/sunlight/water.
For grubs there's also milky spore and beneficial nematodes. I tried the latter and I'm not sure it had any effect. Ideally they will carry on doing their thing for some time, so I'll see if my yard is dug up come spring.

I tagged No-Razzmatazz- a Dr. Oz supporter at some point. I'm guessing "ACWMAB" was posted facetiously or to rile people up.

I grew up in Montco and Philly. I've lived in York County for a few years. I love it here, but I've learned I can't count on reviews to find good food. I'm not particularly picky, my take isn't a foodie's perspective at all. A lot of what I've tried simply wasn't good. That doesn't mean there isn't good food here.
The modern burrito originated in San Francisco, so I wasn't looking for "authentic" Mexican, just a good burrito. Roburrito's isn't it.

Food scene here is more crime scene. Mexitaly's chimichanga, for instance: what if we put burrito ingredients in something that eats like a bread bowl? It's also gotta be said York people, Roburrito's sucks. It's well put together but flavorless. Cracker Barrel levels of bland. Jalapenos in Shrewsbury is legit though. There's some good stuff but wading through the bad is a true displeasure.

Take your temp license and old license to a Driver License Center (not a Photo Center) and tell them you didn't receive a camera card. Maybe bring some extra ID just to be safe. I didn't need it. You wait in one queue to get the camera card issue processed and then get inserted into the photo queue to get a new license.
For the vehicle registration, try to renew online with the plate number you have and see what happens.

Water in Wynnefield Heights, Somerton, Rhawnhurst, and Bustleton all tasted like worms cooking on pavement to me. Grew up on it, hated it. I split time between the city and suburbs, which is probably why I noticed the nasty taste. I trust the water from a quality standpoint, but the flavor was ass all over.
