Look for a saw like this that will cut metal (this one says soft metal). Check HF, HD and Lowes. You will probably have to cut one handle off and improvise a new one.

Reply to Can I drill a hole in this door, and are there open/closable hole caps I can add to both sides? by rolliejoe
As another poster said you will need a bigger hole than you think. If you decide to go this route drill a hole in a scrap 2x4 to make sure you have a big enough hole to pass the cord through. Then go to the hardware store(s) to find the right plugs.
I would find a different section of wall and put a mail plug in a weathertight box on the outside and put a standard outlet on the inside. Probably label them so no one is confused in the future. Something like this, but built for a home, search page. Bring a picture to a big box or electical supply.
Put the male on the outside and a regular outlet on the inside - in the same stud cavity. Use proper size romex - cut it long so you can do all of the fishing with boxes out.
This will not be up to code, but will only be a danger when power is applied.

Some areas of California the land has dropped 30 feet due to water and oil wells.

Bugs are still animals, even ones that are only visible when you are right up to them.

Absolutely not true. Lots of little critters. Larger ones who come through looking for a meal. I went to Lower Antelope in the early 90s, went up the side canyon and surprised a Great Horned Owl at the end of the slot. Got within 20 feet of him sitting on shelf.

Cardboard as in the back of a legal pad might be what you want, right.

Sono tube, that is the trashy bit about a foot below the top. Basically a cardboard tube that will rot away if you don't remove it. Use the steel poles with brackets you will never have to replace them.

I saw Aerosmith at the KingDome. Opening act was Rick Derringer. He played a 15 minute version of Rock N' Roll Hoochie Koo. For about 10 minutes he was on stage alone, playing a solo. Sitting in the back all I could hear was a loud rumble.
Next act was Jan Hammer with Jeff Beck (RIP). Jan played a couple of songs and then Jeff Beck came out and said: "Welcome to the King County Echo Chamber!"

I went to the Sonics' first game in the KingDome against the Bullets. Couldn't see shit from nosebleed seats. But it was NBA finals and I think the tickets were only about $8.

I don't have a chart, but the gap now is a little over 50 miles. I it had narrowed to 10 they would have been able to see land on the other side and been curious. Little Diomede would have been evident earlier, unless it rose through volcanic activity after that period.

Good thing they waited for the bridge to open up. Couldn't they have started when the gap was small, they may have had kayaks or other boats?
