This movie is amazing. I love it so much.

I have movie ticket stubs dating back to the mid/late 90s. The only unfortunate ones are those that are just the receipt paper tickets, which only have a faint ink imprint remaining (if that).

But it is really fun to have. I keep them with my concert tickets.

I just commented that elsewhere! That I was equally excited about SMB3 as I was a new Christian Slater movie haha

As excited I was for SMB3 -- even at a young age, I never turned down a Slater movie hahaha

It has been watched at least once a year since it came out for me (many early years after its release, probably more often).

It's a really great movie and has a lot under the surface of that Nintendo ad.

I just put this on the turntable again last week. I've heard it probably a thousand times -- and each time I'm in awe that such a perfect piece of art exists in the world. To be so lucky to hear it for the first time... I genuinely wish I could go back and remember that.

I was convinced that when Eric did the vocals on "Downtown" by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, that people would investigate their albums -- but that didn't seem to happen ( at least not to my knowledge)

I have NOT heard the demos, but I know what I'm doing later. I am a huge fan of Meat Loaf's music and spent the weekend watching the short film/documentary his daughters put together. Really looking forward to that - Thanks for the tip!!

And yes, Justin & Eric collaborating is really amazing. I have admittedly lost track of what they up to, but I always felt they didn't get the full recognition they deserved.

I never saw The Darkness live, but I saw Foxy Shazam open for Hole in June 2010 -- which I probably why I have the fondness for the S/T album -- and I shoved them down everyone's ears for the whole summer and remainder of the year (and still do, honestly).

Really happy to know there are other that still carry the torch!

I'll add that their S/T album (before that one) is an absolute BANGER and a favorite of mine.

Almost every mix I make has "Killin' It" included, but Bye Bye Symphony and Oh Lord still completely knock me over. A killer live band, too

I saw them in 2002 with The Ataris, Rufio and Autopilot Off.

I was in my early 20s at the time & I really enjoyed them, but agree -- other than a handful of songs, they didn't really stick.

ETA: In short, I don't think the people outside of my group of friends knew who I was going to see at that show. If I had said I was going to see them two years later when they were opening for Green Day? Different story
