Yeah I've rolled a couple tips, end of the day though a single EQ filter is all that's really needed to give them some sparkle. Namely: 9000hz +5db 1.5q

I would normally, but unfortunately these are drug addicts likely to go to any lengths if confronted. If this were a more expensive item I'd put more effort in, but as it stands hopefully they get the point that things like delivery proof pictures exist.

I find them to be an awesome all rounder with no real flaws. Bass is nice and slammy. However... they do lack some sparkle in their treble, leaves me with a slight meh feeling.

Meanwhile mine got delivered to my neighbours by accident, who proceeded to tear it open in the most rat like manner possible: https://imgur.com/MnaS1g3
I had to show them the proof of delivery image of their door to get them to 'remember' having gotten it as well. I do appreciate they kept the weeb info card in there though..

Another vote for the Dusk. Best all rounder ever, there isn't a genre that doesn't sound awesome on it.

Yeah I easily rank these as potentially the best technical performers in that price bracket. I do rank separation though alongside imaging rather high.

Hexa are a fair bit brighter, especially >10kHz where I'm a bit sensitive. If I'm coming from the Dusk directly the Hexa sound a little recessed in bass. Of course if I'm putting the Hexa on fresh it sounds fine generally, if a little lacking on some tracks. For the $$ you would really struggle to find a better performer technically though in the Hexa, great bang for buck.

I kinda prefer my Dusks over the Susvara... biggest single push for me replacing the Susvara with the Clears was just how much I loved listening to the Dusk, which made me realise I loved a punchy more intimate sound instead of endless detail.

Just on the cables, I haven't had too many issues with mine. But I roadie wrap my cables.. might be worth checking out, it's saved me plenty of time untangling cables since I've started doing it:

I absolutely adore good imaging.. but not at the expense of tonality.

Be warned there's plenty of software issues judging by the responses and thread on the Shenzhen discord.. Might be worth giving it a couple months first.

I find closing eyes as well helps massively for imaging. Drums are a thing of beauty with IEM's in the dark with eyes closed. I figure this is probably closely tied to how much the individual can visualise things more generally as well.
