Most of the time the snow melts pretty quickly in Manhattan. The streets and sidewalks are warm because of the subways and the basements. I would be surprised if there’s any accumulation at all. Watch out for the slushy corner puddles, though, they’re always deeper than you think.

To be honest, when mulberries are in season, it’s a constant rain of purple fruit that stains everything and gets slimy underfoot. Not to mention the purple bird shit everywhere.
