Thumbtack. I moved just over a year ago and found painters, floor installers, and my inspector on Thumbtack. Reviews are posted and those contractors I selected did great work at reasonable rates.

I can’t recall being asked and I dated a lot when I was single. It’s not the priority for everyone. Of course it came up through conversation, but never right off the bat.

Operation Paws for Homes. Check out their website and give them a call. They’ll work with you to get the dog to you. I adopted 2 at once and their fosters were in 2 different states. They both brought the dogs to me. I’ve adopted 3 from them and they are excellent to work with.
