Eastern Oregonians can vote all they want but I seriously doubt Idaho has any interest in absorbing another state’s sparse high desert region. Most of Oregon’s money is generated in the western portion of the state. Why would Idaho want to manage the infrastructure for the less productive half, and pay into their school systems and all that? What would they get out of that situation?
