Agreed, furthermore I don't understand the sealed eviction records either. If you have been evicted 3 times in the last five years, that's crucial information to have before I enter into any agreement with you. Some of these sound good. But some of them sound like a total scam waiting to happen. Just imagine how the capping of deductions could be used to hurt someone if things go sour. Seems foolish to build this into the process.

You pretty much figured it out on your own, just ask yourself why would the usps spend the money and manpower to go around welding every box closed? That's probably the reason they did it. My guess people were urinating in them and lighting them on fire or something to that effect. So yeah pretty much, so bad that we can't even have mail boxes anymore. Sad.

Reply to Flashing Yellow School Zone Speed Signs Should be Mandatory Alongside Zone Cameras by BiffBiffkenson
You are confusing "child safety" with "revenue collection" No one cares about the Childrens safety. It's 100% about extorting money from citizens. Flashing warning signs that say "you are about to be extorted" don't help you collect money from your fellow man.

I used to do this maybe a decade ago or so. Then I just started driving the actual speed limit everywhere I go and now I never have to worry about cops or care about speed traps or buy extra equipment or sign up for any apps. I just drive around where ever I want to go listening to music not even looking for cops or cameras. Totally oblivious to all of that stuff. It's really nice and takes a lot of the stress out of driving. Best part, it was totally free.

Police don't do anything about anything LOL Have you seen some of the tint on the windows? The atv's that aren't even allowed on roads in the first place shutting down whole intersections and off ramps to do donuts and scare old ladies? And it's the cars in the left lane of the highway that you think will tip the scale? That sad truth is, none of this is going to get any better. It's only going to continue getting worse. NOBODY DOES ANYTHING. A year or so ago I was stuck behind a cop on eddy st. and three or four ATV's shut down the whole intersection and did donuts around a old ladies car until she was crying and scared to death and you know what the cop did? NOTHING. He just casually pulled up to the light and made his left turn and was gone. NOBODY DOES ANYTHING. It's the wild west and you are on your own. It's sad that our state has become this but it has and there is nothing left to do but accept it.

Yeah they def are NOT required to pay for anything. Some offer it in the lease as an incentive or amenity but there is no requirement saying they have to pay any utility. If he offered it in the lease as "hot water included in rent" then he is obligated to pay for the hot water. But to start thinking there is some unspoken blanket rule that every landlord must do this is just not correct.

We (the US) have the largest reserves of natural gas and oil ON THE PLANET. It should be cheaper here than anywhere else, like pennies on the ton. The people that are doing this to you are doing it by choice. Your just not the one choosing.

What choice is there? When you have no where else to go you will do what they want.
