Adding Pho Que Huong at VCC in Glen Allen. It is consistently good with nice staff and a decent atmosphere (used to be a Famous Dave's BBQ).

My go-to is Pho 79 on Staples Mill.

Pho Thien Phat 2 has an interesting decor. I thought it was good, not amazing.

I won't return to Pho 95 (Willow Lawn).

I haven't been to Pho Tay Doh yet.

Yep, I stick out when I open my mouth. One might think a "different" guy would be a commodity but women I know generally want a guy with a pick-up, local family ties, and conservative views.

There's a lot to like about this area but I am looking forward to my kids finishing school so I can move elsewhere.

I haven't heard bad about any of the ones mentioned. Those that support community events, sponsor teams, group rides, and/or demos on dirt tend to take the job seriously.

Those shops that tend to focus on sales to families... I wouldn't throw shade, but they aren't usually named as the go-to bike repair shop for serious enthusiasts and pros.

I'm guessing the argument could continue forever. Someone Will say they can source Texas-bred prime beef at the same price in Virginia as it would be in Texas and someone else will say it's not hand selected quality, quality degrades with shipping, etc. Someone else will say that it's a little bit more but not to justify ZZQ price, and someone will retort that it's all about supply and demand, etc etc. Someone else will say that beef from Texas is not a better than good quality beef. From Virginia, etc. Etc etc
