While I agree there is a balance to be had, the safeguards are inherently our morals as rules. Then its splitting hairs on which morals are to be used. Welcome to the new digital religions being born in real time.

Reply to art future by nickmakr
No one can answer this will certainty since that's essentially predicting the future.
With that being said, there are some benefits the blockchain could bring to art ownership and even copywrite laws. While NFTs have the potential to revolutionize the way that digital art is bought and sold, it's still too early to say whether they will become the dominant way of owning and trading art in the future. There are a number of challenges and issues that still need to be addressed, including concerns about the environmental impact of blockchain technology and the lack of legal protections for NFT owners.

While this article isn't great at articulating the potential benefits of this field, within the next few years we'll see some fruit blossom for sure, and it will impact a lot of diverse areas, such as:
Enhanced imaging and diagnostic capabilities: The ability to resolve features at the subwavelength scale could revolutionize fields such as biology, medicine, and materials science, allowing for the study and understanding of phenomena at an unprecedented level of detail. This could lead to new discoveries and advances in a wide range of fields.
Improved sensing and detection: Enhanced sensitivity of sensors could enable the detection of subtle changes in the environment and allow for the development of new sensing technologies. This could have applications in fields such as healthcare, security, and environmental monitoring.
Increased energy efficiency: The ability to more efficiently absorb and convert light into electricity could lead to more efficient solar cells and other renewable energy technologies, helping to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels.
Improved telecommunications: The development of new types of devices and materials for use in telecommunications systems could enable faster and more efficient communication over long distances.

Its going to be real weird when 160 yr olds date 30yr olds and are discriminated for it. They'll both look the same, but who boy, there will be haters.

I'm actually surprised CRISPER hasn't made even more groundbreaking breakthroughs. I think we might see a different story once someone decides to pair it with some of the newer AI models. Watch me cry sarcastic tears as the pharma industry dries up.

I’d be more concerned about an ai that wants to twist logic around enforcing traditional gender roles, or parroting some type of Christo-fascist dogma.
I’m wholly uninterested in an AI that has any “moral grounding” in Islam or Christianity, anything more than the golden rule and some modernized Asimov’s rules is sketchy.
