Dogs are stupid when it comes to treats they deem "high value". They will try to take them in as fast as possible and not chew properly.

No the dog doesn't need to be put down. My dog has randomly had this problem for 13 years. Also yes he did do something wrong. You don't invade people's privacy instead of coddling maybe teach a person young that there are expectations of behavior between people.

Yeah you can spin a adjustable 90 into some really weird offsets and contorted angles. Next time you are at the store just play with one a bit and see what you can make it to by spinning the individual sections separately.

If it is an attached garage which I imagine it is, you can't have a duct through the fire wall that is open to the garage. Also you could be negative drafting the water heater and furnace which is really bad news.

I would use 2 adjustable 90s to make a short angle and a offset you would be less restricted than 2 straight 45s.

The thermostat determines the temperature swing not the wiring. Most residential stats don't have deadzone adjustment. All a stat does is connect white to red to complete the circuit which starts the heating cycle when it drops below the deadzone temp, and shuts it off after the satisfied (set) temp.
In no way would you want a 1 degree swing, generally you want only 4 to 5 cycles per hour on heating. Short cycling doesn't warm up the heat exchanger and more of your money goes out the vent. My commercial honeywell doesn't allow deadzone adjustment but allows cycle limiting and learns what it needs based on the run times and temps.
Good news, these are facts unlike your unfounded nonsense.

There are 100000 btus in a therm of natural gas and 3142 btus in a kwh of electric so using $1.316 of gas for heating is equivalent to $5.506 in electricity for a space heater at the current rates I am paying for ng and electric. Heat pumps probably won't catch on as much in the north for heating we mostly use them for cooling in the summer. Even with a crank case heater and an auxiliary heat grid inside the head getting below 5 they really struggle.
I'll stick with my 96.3% furnace for now. The premature push to have everything all electric is just a good way to sell more natural gas to electric power companies for generation. Just costs the end user more money.

I have used a shun as well and felt it was pretty good. One item I dislike about the mercer is it is made in Taiwan so QC could be an issue.

Well I am buying one and will see how it is. My bet is "not all that good lol" I believe I paid about 120 for my 6" and 180 for my 10" wusthof classics locally so this 8" falls in the middle and also about half the price not 5x.

Knives, never had good ones huh? Kitchen supply stores will never compete with the good knives aside from on price.
Wusthof classic or ikon, JAH, Chicago ect. Some stamped blade for cutting against the grill top at chipotle is not a comparison. Professional vs novice. It is like saying a Oster mixer is the same as a professional 5 plus KitchenAid.
