On the topic of A.I. Sentience, I think the true test of sentience will be if an A.I. can decide to do something for fun, in order words, no productive reason at all.

Sounds a bit similar to how a psychopath can mimic normal social behaviour. But psychopaths have consciousness too.

I’m really excited about the potential in medical breakthroughs. Currently waiting on an exact diagnosis for a family member to begin treatment and testing which specific cancer it actually is is taking so damn long.

AI can and will save so many lives as one aspect of the singularity.
