Elephant’s Trunk is considered the Cadillac of flea markets in CT. I’ve always enjoyed the one at the drive-in in Mansfield.

There were so many more back in the day. I used to work at Lechter’s in the Buckland Hills Mall in the ‘90s. That store was stuffed to the gills with kitchen goodies. The entire side wall was just gadgets. I suppose Williams Sonoma is the default chain store now.

Agreed. If you make enough of an effort, you can find great friend and romantic partner prospects anywhere. There’s great art, music, food, etc. in New Haven. NYC is also a quick train ride away. I’d definitely recommend moving to CT, but I also don’t know Chicago at all.
