Gojira and Death
When i saw Gojira live at my first ever concert (knotfest Iowa 2021), i was blown away. That first scream from Joe Duplantier on Born for One Thing changed my entire perspective on music.
Death solidified what gojira did to my taste and introduced me into the world of death metal and progressive death metal. I discovered Opeth shortly after, which became my favorite band.

Sound of Perseverance is what got me into death metal. People don't give that album enough praise.

Whenever you are in the add song menu thing, it only allows you to listen to a preview. Just listen to the song outside of the add song menu. I find it easier to add songs to my playlist better outside of that menu anyway.

$3,000 should be more than enough for a really good drum kit. I'm not sure what exact drum kit you should get, but i would look into brands such as Pearl, Ludwig, Tama, and Yamaha (I might be forgetting another big one). I would order a drum kit from Sweetwater.com.

The IVth Crusade is the 2nd best death metal album of all time. This is factual and can be proven with scientific evidence.

Reply to comment by the_wkv in Wiil CD's make a comeback like Vinyl? by trukises
CDs and vinyl sound exactly the same (assuming you are comparing similar quality players and sound systems). Vinyl are cool because they are big and nice looking. CDs came around because they are more convenient to use and store. CDs are replaced by streaming for the same reason. I don't think CDs will make a comeback because they are just the disadvantages of vinyl and streaming. They are inconvenient, like vinyl, without looking as cool as vinyl.

Nightmares Made Flesh by Bloodbath is perfect and quite fast. Probably not your style, but it slaps.

After the guitar solo in creeping death by metallica. There are harder ones, but this is the first that comes to mind.

Do it. I don't personally like the weekend, but i do know that concerts can get you into new music. Knotfest Iowa last year got me into so many new bands.

I use spotify because it is the only service built into consoles. I like to game and listen to music. Also, my sister pays for my premium through the duo plan, which is a really good deal (not paid to say this).

Fair point. People tend to credit still life for that, but yes, my arms, your hearse was definitely the turning point.

Out of all the Opeth albums you pick My Arms, Your Hearse? I guess all Opeth albums are 10, but I say Blackwater Park, Damnation, or Still Life are better.
