My experience as well. A larger company I worked at signed contract with IBM worth millions for them to develop some software. IBMs plan ways to make it into a product and sell it. It was absolute garbage, and after a few failed launch attempts it was completely scrapped all together.
I have never had any positive experience from any software made by IBM.
