Unless there's some other element to the story not in this article, I don't see how the Guardians have a case. The Cs are different, one has a lightning bolt, one has a text banner beneath it ... one side's a baseball team in Ohio and the other is a record label/clothing store in Virginia. Not much chance for confusion.
A great read, thank you. It's sad to know this wasn't the end of such strife there, as noted in the 1976 documentary film Harlan County USA. (Plus, modern Harlan often served as the backdrop in the great TV series Justified.)

Chickahominy has a better case against Charged Up than the Guardians, in my opinion.
